DOHA: Minister of Culture HE Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani received today an official invitation from Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of the Arab Republic of Egypt HE Ahmed Issa to attend the Cairo conference on Protection of Cultural Property, scheduled to be held in October.
The invitation message was handed over by Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the State of Qatar HE Amr Kamal El-Din El-Sherbiny, when the Minister of Culture met him today.
The Cairo Conference on Protection of Cultural Property discusses international measures to disrupt illicit trafficking chains and protect cultural property.
