Doha: Qatar Museums Chairperson H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani has invited people to register so as they maybe able to attend the limited-seat opening ceremony of National Museum of Qatar.
The Qatar Museums will assign a select number of seats to Cultural Pass Members, as well as some of the oldest residents living in Qatar.

The Qatar Museums’ website says the “National Museum of Qatar will open on March 27th 2019. This opening will be under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.”
The National Museum is designed by world renowned architect, Jean Nouvel, and is an expansion of the old National Museum that was built in 1975.
“As Qatar is a diverse nation and its progress and growth has always depended on the participation of all of its residents, it gives us a great pleasure to extend a number of opening night invites to our Culture Pass members.”
“Seniority is not a criteria, everyone is invited to sign up! Seats are limited,” the website says.
