United Challengers and Transfast Legends will clash for the Division B title, while the Division C final at the popular Qatar Airways T20 Cricket Tournament pits QIECO against Nihal XI.
Both the finals will take place today.Farhan turned in an out-standing all-round display (50 not out off 37 deliveries and three for 18) to power United Challengers to an easy 38-run triumph over Hadico in one Division B semi-final clash at the West Bay Grounds.
Anees (three for 20) and Subin Babu (37 off 32 balls) were the chief performers for Transfast Legends, who edged Doha Bank by 13 runs in the other last four stage clash. Farhan’s half-century with a six and six boundaries laid the base for his team’s 151 for nine.
Riyaz hit one six and five fours to get 35 off 25 balls to take United Challengers to a fighting position, despite Asif’s four for 15 and two for 22 by Ali Murtaza. Hadico were bundled out for 113 with three balls to spare when Farhan returned to grab three wickets for just 19 runs.
Satish picked two for 18.The other Division B clash was more entertaining. Transfast Legends, batting first against Doha Bank, got 137 for eight on the board with Subin Babu emerging as the top-scorer (37 with one six and three fours). Nisala earned the bowling honours with three for 31.
Chamara Pereira tried to keep the bank men into contention as he fired two sixes and three fours in his 30-ball 38. But other players could not offer the needed support to him. Anees excelled with the ball, nailing three wickets for 20.

Division C semis
QIECO scripted a fine seven-run victory to upset Desert Lions, the only unbeaten team in the division till now, to book a spot in the final. Srikanth (47 in 36 balls) and Moin (two for 20) came with nice individual perform-ances for the winners, who made 141 for seven while batting first.
Besides Srikanth, Salman hit 25 in 26 balls to put the pressure on the rivals. Rohan Dhaigude and Asim bowled well to take two wickets each. During the chase, Naveen and Dhaigude hit the bulk of runs. Naveen’s 45 had one six and three fours, while Dhaigude hit five fours in his knock. Firoz dominated the semi-finals of the Division C as he blasted fives sixes and one four in his rampaging 56 off just 30 balls, spurring Nihal XI to a thrilling four-wicket victory against Qatar Foundation with seven balls to spare. All-rounder Zia and Rashid shared four wickets to threaten Nihal XI.
But the knocks by Firoz and Anjum changed the course of the match. Earlier, Zia cracked eight fours in his 71 in 44 balls and Denzil added 33 off 27 balls to guide Qatar Foundation to a healthy-looking 166 in 20 overs.
