Indian hospitals, morgues, and crematoriums have been overwhelmed as the country is fighting an oxygen crisis as coronavirus cases continue to surge.
A few Bollywood stars have come forward to help India fight the deadly virus.
Sonu Sood has been upfront with helping patients and people suffering due to Covid-19 since last year; be it helping the immigrants to go back to their village, helping patients find beds in ICU, oxygen, and even medicines.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas has also come forward to help India with her fundraiser with GiveIndia, the largest organization on the ground in India providing Covid relief.
Deepika Padukone also shared verified numbers of LiveLoveLaugh Organization on her Instagram profile to help people cope with mental health during the pandemic.
Harshvardhan Rane took to Instagram to share a picture of his bike for sale to raise funds for oxygen supplies. He posted on his IG story “Giving my motorcycle away in exchange of oxygen concentrators, which will go to the needy. Please help me find good concentrators in Hyderabad…”
Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna donated 100 oxygen concentrators and also donated Rs 1 crore to Gautam Gambhir’s foundation to help people affected by the pandemic.
Salman Khan has also revived his food trucks which will be used to distribute food kits to the frontline workers in Mumbai.
Alia Bhatt collaborated with her journalist friend Faye D’Souza, to identify and amplify relevant information that can help Covid-19 patients, through their campaign #circleofhope
Shilpa Shetty has initiated a platform called ‘Report Hunger – Khaana Chahiye Foundation’ through which she is providing cooked meals or groceries to the needy.
Urvashi Rautela donated 27 oxygen concentrators in Uttarakhand through her Urvashi Rautela Foundation.

Also, other actors and influencers are using their social media to help people with sharing verified helpline numbers to reach out, blood donations, bed searches and much to support the needy.
