Doha: The Municipal Monitoring Department at Al Sheehaniya Municipality caught a supermarket for running without a license inside the Abu Nakhla animal farms’ complex on Saturday.
Food items were seized as they were stored in unhealthy conditions violating the law, said the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in a press release.
Legal action was taken against the violators and the food items were destroyed as it was unfit for human consumption.
This effort came under the framework of ongoing inspection campaigns by Al Sheehaniya Municipality in animal farms’ complex to ensure the compliance of rules and regulations.
