The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has issued a circular to the directors of government schools on new timing during the forthcoming holy month of Ramadan.
The kindergarten schools will open from 9am till 12. The schools for the students from grade 1 to 12 will open from 9am to 1pm. The schools will have five periods daily with maximum 40 minutes.
The assembly will be for ten minutes from 9am to 9:10am, first period will be from 9:10am to 9:50am, second from 9:55am to 10:35am and the third period from 10:40am to 11:20am.
There will be a 20-minute break from 11:20am to 11:40am. The fourth period will be from 11:40am to 12:20noon and fifth period from 12:20noon to 1pm.
