Doha: Qatar’s Ministry of Interior said it’s banning all marine sports activities given the COVID-19 situation around the world.
The ministry tweeted it’s “preventing the movement of all types of [water]scooters and ‘jet boats’ from today until further notice to ensure the health and safety of marine sports enthusiasts from any health risks.”
Qatar has restricted lots of activities that involve large gatherings in public places and have introduced laws and amendments in existing penal laws that increased the penalty for violators.
