Doha: The hugely popular Torba Farmers Market will be hosting the market under the stars at the Ceremonial Court in the Education City from this weekend.

The seasonal Torba Night Market will be open on April 5-6 and April 12-13 from 5pm to 10pm before closing shop for this season.

"Our seasonal market runs every weekend during the day from November. When April comes, we shift to night market," said a Torba Market Spokesperson, adding this season will end on April 13 which means the night market will be open only for two weekends.

The night market will also feature live music, artisan food and crafts and according to their Insta post that invites residents “their night vibes are a must visit.”

Torba, which in Arabic means soil, is a community-inspired initiative aimed at supporting local food producers and agriculture, while encouraging the public to lead healthier, more active lifestyles.

The market offers fresh produce including fruit and vegetables, homemade preserves, syrups, and jars of butter, and handicrafts and gardening supplies.

The market is accessible from Education City’s Gate 2.
