Doha: A school in Qatar has honoured a student for his honesty and integrity for returning the money he found over to the school administration.

Ahmed Mansour Primary School for Boys announced that it honoured Turki Nasser Al-Hajri, a fifth-grade student, after he handed over the money he found to the school administration, to enhance the value of trust and in appreciation of his behaviour.

The school added on its Twitter account that the student's behaviour "indicates his honesty, sincerity, integrity and good conscience, may God bless him and his family."

Nasser Mubarak Al Masarer Al Hajri, the father of the student, thanked the principal and school administration for this valuable initiative that enhances the value of trust of his son. Turki, he said, felt proud of his work and honesty.
