BFIS new Student Council takes oath

Doha: Bright Future International School (BFIS) has announced Students Council for the academic year 2015-16, following a poll in which students cast votes to elect representatives. 
Rida Arif of A Level was elected as Head Girl and Zakriya Attique of A-Level as Head Boy. Fatima Khalid of XI-FSc (G) bagged the highest votes for the seat of Assistant Head Girl and Meshall Malik of XI-FSc (B) was elected as Assistant Head Boy. 
Twenty proctors each from Boys’ and Girls’ wings were appointed to carry out tasks delegated to the council.
An oath-taking ceremony was held at the school where new office-bearers were sworn in.
Dr Saadat Kamran, Senior Consultant, Department of Neurology, Hamad Medical Corporation, was Chief Guest. 
Ali Zulqarnain, Vice-Principal, administered the oath and students pledged to remain dutiful and sincere to duties assigned to them. 
Imran Waheed, Principal, congratulated the new council and urged them to lead from the front and be the role models for other students. 
Dr Kamran conferred sashes on new office-bearers and said such a forum will help inculcate leadership and comradeship among students. He also stressed discipline in their academic and individual lives as it could prove a key to any cherished success.
