Amman: Two Jordanian policemen were killed when unknown assailants opened fire on their patrol vehicle in Irbid, northern Jordan, Public Security Directorate (PSD) officials said.
The officers, a captain and a corporal, were on official duty when their vehicle was fired at. Investigations and intelligence gathering are underway to identify perpetrators of the incident, PSD added.
