Qatar population crosses 3 million

Doha: The population of Qatar jumped at the end of October 2022 by 13.6 percent year-on-year to reach 3,020,080 people, while it increased by 1.2 percent compared to September 2022.

The Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA) ) issued the preliminary monthly figures for the population as it was on Oct. 31, 2022. The data represents the number of individuals of all ages (Qatari - non-Qatari) within the borders of the State of Qatar, and does not include Qataris outside the borders of the state, or non-Qataris who have residency but were outside the borders of the state at the time of preparing the statement on Oct. 31, 2022.
