Cinemas are allowed to screen movies from today, September 1, onwards with a capacity of 15%. The cinemas have to follow precautionary measures and only people above 18 years are allowed entry.

Cinemas were shut in March beginning as part of measures to stop the spread of Covid-19 in Qatar.

Phase four of the gradual lifting of coronavirus in Qatar is split into two phases and the first phase kicked of today.
