Reports of Sudanese Ambassador to Qatar being summoned to Khartoum are not true said the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lulwah Al-Khater.
In a post on her official Twitter account, the spokesperson wrote that in Arabic that the ministry has not received any official note regarding this, except for the ambassador's note about being on a short leave.
Her tweet that roughly translates to: "The Sudanese ambassador to the State of Qatar is currently in Khartoum. We do not know the source of this news. We have not received an official memorandum. The Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan had sent a memorandum to the Qatari Foreign Ministry, as usual, short leave has been scheduled for return."
