Doha: There are chances of rain from tomorrow until Tuesday as there will be an increase in cloud cover, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said on Twitter.
“It is expected that the amounts of clouds will increase from tomorrow evening Sunday, May 2, 2021 with chances of rainy weather condition that will continue until Tuesday, May 4, 2021, which may be thundery sometimes accompanied by strong wind and high waves,” QMD tweeted.
In its daily report QMD said that weather inshore tonight until 6 am on Sunday will be mild, hazy to misty at places, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report.
Offshore, the weather will be hazy to misty, becoming foggy at places, the report added. The Department of Meteorology also warned of expected poor visibility at places offshore.
Wind inshore will be mainly southeasterly at a speed of 3 to 13 knot, becomes variable at a speed of less than 3 knot later.
Offshore, wind will be southeasterly - Easterly 3 to 12 knot, gusting to 15 knot.
Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometer, 3 kilometers or less at places later.
Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet. Offshore, it will be 1 to 3 feet rising to 4 feet at times.
