Jack Beaton claims victory in final Middle East Formula race at Lusail

Doha,Qatar: Australian driver Jack Beaton emerged victorious in the third and final race of the Middle East Regional Formula Championship, held as part of the Qatar 1812 km the opening round of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship at Lusail International Circuit.

Beaton clinched the win in a highly competitive field of 24 drivers, completing the race in 30 minutes, 25.821 seconds. He finished 1.782 seconds ahead of American Ugo Ugochukwu, who secured second place with a time of 30:27.603.

Russian driver Nikita Bedrin took third place with a time of 30:28.746, while Britains Freddie Slater finished fourth in 30:35.469. Japanese racer Kanato Lee rounded out the top five with a time of 30:36.010.

The second race of the Middle East Regional Formula Championship saw Mexican driver Ernesto Rivera claim victory, clocking 30 minutes, 11.611 seconds. He finished 1.851 seconds ahead of French driver Enzo Deligny, who secured second place with a time of 30:13.462.

Italian racer Nikita Bedrin finished third in 30:16.811, while Frances Yvan Giltier took fourth in 30:21.690. Emirati driver Rashid Al Dhaheri completed the top five with a time of 30:23.388.

The first race of the championship, held on Thursday, saw Italian driver Nikita Bedrin take victory with a commanding lead, crossing the finish line in 30:35.318 minutes 5.535 seconds ahead of Ugo Ugochukwu, who finished second in 30:40.853.

French driver Yvan Giltier secured third place in 30:41.026, while Japanese racer Jin Nakamura finished fourth in 30:47.416. Enzo Deligny completed the top five with a time of 30:47.828.
