This highly-upheld value serves as an encouragement and motivation for the media to exert further efforts in highlighting the genuine mission of journalism in professionally reporting the world and providing a meaningful perspective of Qatar’s benevolence and speedy developments.
The Peninsula team is dedicated to always look forward to excellence in journalism work. We never claimed to own the results of concerted efforts and generous guidance of those who put trust in us and those initiatives carried out by our former editors-in-chief. But we do capitalise on their legacy to build the future success of the newspaper.
In this new-look of The Peninsula, changes are not cosmetic, ie not merely limited to style and design but to content and substance. Improvements in content include attention to local, regional and international issues with in-depth approach. 
Our esteemed readers will find much more in content, style, exclusive stories, community coverage, new design, and more pages in various sections in addition to contributions by prominent local, regional and global columnists. 
These major changes follow on from seven years since the last re-launch of the newspaper, and aim to provide a new impetus to our staff to maintain The Peninsula’s leading position in national English-speaking press. These changes are also not of a coincidence or out of a sudden. They constitute the result of a thorough, well-studied plan implemented during three months with input from all staff, keeping in mind the newspaper’s future prospects. 
Finally this new re-launch of our paper further aims to enable us to cope with the comprehensive developments the state of Qatar is witnessing in all fields. In this regard, The Peninsula’s team do very much appreciate your constructive feedback and suggestions to help enhance its output, hence the national media scene in this country.
