The diplomatic efforts of Qatar along its partners - Egypt and the US - for reaching a much-awaited ceasefire deal in Gaza have been lauded at the international level while emphasis on implementation of the agreement in true spirits. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomed the ceasefire deal in the Gaza Strip and praised the efforts made by the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the United States in this regard. Welcoming ceasefire, King Abdullah II of Jordan also commended the efforts of Qatar, Egypt and the US in brokering the agreement, while stressing that the ceasefire must translate into sustained humanitarian access and relief operations. Deputy Prime Minister Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stated that the UAE welcomes the announcement of this deal, lauding the efforts made by the State of Qatar, Egypt and the United States to achieve it. Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres commended the dedicated mediation efforts undertaken by the State of Qatar in cooperation with the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United States of America, which resulted in the two parties to the conflict in Gaza reaching an agreement. Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry lauded the intensive efforts made by the international community, especially the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the United States of America. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain also expressed appreciation for the tireless diplomatic mediation efforts exerted by the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Qatar, and the United States of America.The Foreign Ministry of Oman praised the prominent role of the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the United States of America, and the support provided by brotherly and friendly countries to reach this agreement. The Foreign Ministry of South Korea said it highly appreciates the diplomatic efforts of the United States, Qatar and Egypt, which played a vital role in the conclusion of the agreement. Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the arduous efforts made by the deal mediators to enhance security and peace in the region, calling for full respect and implementation of the agreement. President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud welcomed the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, commending the efforts made by the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the United States of America to achieve it.
