NEW YORK: Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback Nick Foles is expected to miss another two to four weeks due to a broken collarbone.
According to a Philadelphia Daily News report, a follow-up CT scan on the injured left collarbone revealed that it is healing normally.
However, replacement Mark Sanchez will reportedly hold on to the starting job if he continues to play well. He led the Eagles to a blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday.
The St Louis Rams activated defensive end Chris Long.
Long was on the injured reserve-designated to return list after having ankle surgery. He was injured in the season opener. The Rams take on the Oakland Raiders.
Miami Dolphins tight end Charles Clay was downgraded to doubtful for Monday night’s game against the New York Jets but wide receiver Mike Wallace is probable.
