Makkah Al-Mukarramah: HH the Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met, at his stay in Al Diyafa Palace, with HE the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and his good wishes to HH Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and to the people of Kuwait continued progress and prosperity.
For his part, HH Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah entrusted His Excellency to convey his greetings to HH the Amir and to the Qatari people further prosperity and development.
During the meeting, they reviewed the fraternal relations between the two countries and the most important topics on the agenda of the emergency summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Arab emergency summit and the 14th session of the Islamic Summit Conference in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
The meeting was attended by HE Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzooq Ali Al-Ghanim, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, HE Minister of Finance Dr Nayef Al-Hajraf, and HE Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Minister of Municipal Affairs Fahad Al-Shula.
Earlier in the day, upon his arrival in Jeddah, His Excellency the Prime Minister was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by HRH Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and HE Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr Abdullatif Rashid Al-Zayani, and HE Mayor of Jeddah Saleh Al-Turki.
His Excellency was accompanied by an official delegation.
