Doha: Pre-event training for the Association Cup organised by the Qatar Shooting and Archery Association (QSAA) kicked off here yesterday at the Losail Shooting Range.
Over the next nine days shooters will be competing in skeet, traps and double trap as well as pistol and rifle events.
“Competitions will be held strictly in compliance with the International Shooting Sport Federation rules. This is the first of a series of events we’re going to host here. The Qatar Open Shotgun Championship, which draws a strong field, will be held from February 12 to 21,” said QSAA President Mohammed bin Ali Al Ghanem Al Maadeed (pictured).
