Ever since the blockade was imposed on Qatar, twitter users in Qatar have launched new hashtags about the crisis and the last one in the series was about the most important things that make Qataris very happy.
Maha Al Ansari, a citizen of Qatar, said that the wise, respectful and sovereign government is the most important thing making Qataris happy.
Another citizen said, “We discovered that we people are united with our leaders especially in difficult situation. We also discovered the faces behind masks of our neighbours.
“The most important things which make Qataris and expatriates happy are supporting Qatar and our Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani,” said Samaa in a tweet.
Most of the people have tweeted about the efforts done by Qatari Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani to resolve the crisis and how intelligent and articulate he was in his speeches. While presenting arguments he was very clear and firm unlike the siege countries’ foreign ministers who were unclear and feeling hesitations in what they wanted to say.
A citizen, Bu Ghanem said: “The most important thing that makes us happy is that we are proud of our leader, the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and our foreign minister.”
Many tweets focused on the issue of drugs as the rate of drug-related crimes through the different state ports has dropped in June and July of this year by 90 percent compared to the previous months of the year.
“The thing that makes us the most happiest is the decrease in drug-related crimes and this means they were coming from siege countries.”
