Amman: Qatari national team player Sheikha Al Abdullah won the bronze medal in the West Asian U-20 Fencing Championship hosted by Jordan.
Sheikha managed to win the bronze medal today, after finishing third place in the womens epee U-15 competition, whilst the first place and gold medal were claimed by Jana Abdeen from Jordan, and the silver going to Jana Al Sharji from the Sultanate of Oman.
The Qatari national team will continue its participation in the tournament in the men's and women's under 17 categories.
It is worth mentioning that 150 male and female players representing 11 countries - Qatar, Palestine, Oman, Kuwait, Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iraq, Lebanon, and the host Jordan - are taking part in the championship
