Hamad International Airport receives highest amount of rainfall: Qatar Meteorology

Doha: After the showers that Qatar received yesterday, December 26, 2022, the Qatar Meteorology has released the details on the amount of rain recorded in each area of the country. 

Hamad International Airport recorded 15.1 mm of rainfall, the highest amount across the country. 

Meanwhile Al Jumayliyah in the North recorded the lowest at 1.1mm while its neighbour Al Khor received 1.6mm. Mesaimeer and Mesaieed recorded the second highest rainfall of 13.2mm.

The amount of rainfall received yesterday in each area: 
Al Shahaniyah - 1.7mm
Qatar University - 7.9mm 
Lusail -9mm
Doha - 8.8mm
Al Rayan - 5.2mm
Mukaines - 4.3mm 
Al Wakrah - 6.4mm
Al Karanah - 2.4mm
Abu Samra - 12mm
Turayna - 9.8mm
Sudanthile - 4.7mm

Meanwhile in its weather report until 6pm, the department stated that it is expected to be hazy and cold with chance of rain in certain parts of the country later in the day. The visibility will be 4 to 8km today.
