International Wedding Exhibition and Fashion Show
This is the 11th year of the five-day exhibition that will be on till September 30 and it is a must-go-for event for all those who brides and grooms and their families planning a wedding in near future. With over 100 exhibitors, IWED has gathered the top labels in the wedding planning and hospitality industry.

QAWS Open Day
Here's your chance to walk a dog, cuddle a cat and chat with monkeys as Qatar Animal Welfare Society organises a Shelter Open Day to meet over 300 animals under its care. Animal lovers can help the hungry rescues at the shelter by bringing along a bag of dog or cat biscuit.

When: September 28; from 4pm to 7pm
Tickets: Though the entry is free, the centre would appreciate donations of dog and cat food (especially Purina Dog and Cat chow)

Sports Moments exhibition
Over 40 pictures from various sporting events in Qatar are on display at Katara. The photos taken by photographers Yousef Al Walidi and Mohammed Ali captures the best moments from the international events and tournaments hosted by Qatar.

Fall/Winter Fashion Festival 2018
Mall of Qatar will host a 10-day fashion festival starting today till October 6. The stage will come alive with catwalk shows featuring newest collection for men, women and children from the different brands at the mall. There will also be a make-up booth at East gate 1 along with resident stylist giving out free advice on trends and body shape analysis.

Dual Inspirations Exhibition
Ten Qatari artists showcase their artworks at the Fire Station and their imaginative work is being appreciated by the residents for their originality of concept and message. One of the artists in her artwork Traces of Life showcases burnt books to underline the crucial role book plays in life and how people nowadays take them for granted.
