DOHA: Ezdan Mall Company has announced launching an assortment of events throughout the course of Ramadan that target families and children at Ezdan Mall Al Gharaffa and Al Wakrah, in an initiative that will reinforce the future generations’ connection and pride with their Qatari heritage and identity amid an atmosphere of entertainment and merriment.
The events are scheduled for the weekends (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) during Ramadan starting from 9:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, which will allow families interested in bringing their kids to partake in the activities.
This conforms to Ezdan Mall Company strategy in maximizing recreation along with enjoying advantages, through creating a family ambience away from marketing purposes, in addition to attracting broader segments of the public to visit Ezdan Malls and to benefit from the various unique services they offer.
Among the key events that will be held Majlis Ramadan “Ramadan Assembly”, which is organized at the main gates of Ezdan Mall Al Gharaffa and Ezdan Mall Al Wakrah. The event is aimed at attracting children, where one of the Qatari grandmothers relates to them some stories from Qatari heritage and how their ancestors lived, in order to enlighten the children about their history and ancestors and keep their memory vivid in the conscience across generations.
The assembly also includes some other entertainment and educational activities, such as the children’s Ramadan lantern making workshop, using simple tools available at the house, as well as Ramadan dangler creation workshop, which teaches children how to prepare flags to decorate their homes and their private rooms. In addition, a color-painting workshop is held, which enables children to express themselves by giving them papers and colors to put down their thoughts about the Holy Month of Ramadan.
It is noteworthy that Ezdan Mall runs an array of cultural, sports and enterainment events throughout the year, which come in line with the mall strategy to attract all segments of society seeking to enjoy fun and cultural activities during shopping and entertainment.
Ezdan Mall also earmarks several Islamic and cultural activities -whether in cooperation with state or independently- for Ramadan, being the most important Islamic occasion celebrated by the Qatari society, which is also considered as a special occasion to rejoice and uplift the morale of all mall guests.
