Doha: Temperature in Qatar will continue to drop from tonight, January 27, until Monday, according to Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) on its latest weather update.

In a statement, the Department said: "A drop in temperatures from today evening 27/1/2023 and an increase in the feeling of coldness until Monday".

During this period, the lowest temperature at night may reach 10-15°C while the maximum temperature during the day may vary between 18-22°C.

Colder temperatures will be felt in various regions in Qatar, with a further dip in temperatures in the southern and outer regions.

QMD also announced that chances of rain are expected to gradually decrease in the coming hours. However, scattered rain at sea continues to be observed with the occurrence of high tides across some beaches. The Department urged citizens and residents to take precautions and avoid all marine activities.
