Doha: The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy announced that the Family & Friends service on the Hayya platform and mobile application will close soon.
From November 1, 2022, this accommodation option will no longer be available to FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 ticket holders.
SC stated that this is due to the processing time required to ensure every ticket holder receives security clearance ahead of November 1, 2022 - when the Hayya Card will serve as the only means of entry to the State of Qatar for visitors.
Fans can continue to apply for the Family & Friends service until November 1, 2022. After this date, fans will need to book accommodation via the Qatar Accommodation Agency or third-party platforms.
