Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) announced today, February 26, that the Main Blood Donor Center has moved from its previous location at Bayt Al Dhiyafah to its new permanent location at West Energy Center.
The new blood center receives both male and female whole blood and platelet donors.
West Energy Center is located near Sports Junction, as shown on the map published on HMC's Twitter handle. It has dedicated parking on the first floor for blood donors.
HMC also said that the satellite unit of the Blood Donation Center adjacent to the Surgical Specialty Center continues to open its doors to receive blood donors and blood products.
New main blood donor center working hours:
Sunday to Thursday: 7 am - 9:30 pm
Saturday: 8 am - 2 pm
Friday: Closed
