Doha: The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced on Friday that children aged 7 and above can now enter the two Holy Mosques provided the ‘Tawakkalna’ application shows their health status as “immune”.

This information was shared by Makkah region on its Twitter account yesterday.

This comes after nearly 30 months of restrictions for youngsters because of Covid-19 concerns.

Saudi Arabia has already started vaccinating children above 5 years.
