Doha: There is good news for all Ooredoo home broadband subscribers. The telecom giant has announced that they are increasing the home internet speed by five times for free.
In a video tweeted by Ooredoo Qatar, Gunther Ottendorfer, Chief Technology and Infrastructure Officer, said: “Our Supernet is so strong that we have decided to upgrade the broadband speed for free.”
He also said that the change will take place automatically and the subscriber don’t have to do anything.
If you have a 30mbps connection, it will be now be upgraded to 150mbps and 100mbps will be upgraded to 500mbps at no extra cost to the customer.
The basic 15mbps is updgraded to 50mbps

“Enjoy – the best news is here! We’ve boosted your home internet speeds for free! Your home internet will now be up to 5 times faster – at no extra costs!,” Ooredoo tweeted along with the video.
