The victory allowed Power Horse Energy to register its first win in the best-of-three championship series at the Division-1 of Subaru Cup 2012 of Pinoy Basketball Qatar (PIBAQ).
In the other game, Dukhan Ballers dominated its play and never looked back in the last quarter to mark its convincing win over KIA Motor , 87-74, in the Division 2 version of the best-of-three championship series at the Al Gharafa Training Gym.

In the battle for third place, Flamin’ Go survived a thriller over Natsco Garagae, 64-63, in the Division 2 while Manila Express Cargo-One Family took was awarded a win by default when Team Creation and Concepts did not show up in the game.
Power Horse’s Batang Isarog refused to budge and fought out all the way to stay close to the deficit until the surprise heroics of Guerrero and Paderes to the remaining seconds before the final buzzer.
Dukhan Ballers was dominating with 10-point advantage over KIA Motors in the first quarter behind the 10-point production of Erminio Bigkas while Jeff Roman was also in form with 13 points.
