Tomorrow marks the start of weeks of celebrations as part of the Arab Cup fan events on Corniche. From food festival to fireworks there are many things to keep the fans entertained.

As part of Qatar–USA Year of Culture 2021 many programmes are organized over the weekend. From hip-hop to cinemas, there is many things happening at Katara.

There are many things to choose from, have a great weekend. 

Arab Cup 2021 

The FIFA Arab Cup will see 16 teams from across the Arab world come together to compete which will be played at six stadiums, with two venues set to be inaugurated during the tournament.  There will be various shows on Corniche Street including Qatar International Food Festival, eight interactive installations, one musical water show and the largest ever monumental LED installation in Qatar.

Cinema Under the Stars 

To celebrate Qatar–USA Year of Culture 2021, American made family-friendly movies will be screened in the serene setting of Katara Hills.

American Jazz Concert 

The Charlie Porter Quintet features some of New York City's best jazz musicians and will feature internationally acclaimed and Grammy Award-winning trumpeter and composer Charlie Porter's own highly acclaimed original music as well as featuring 'standards' from the great American Songbook.

Hip Hop and Dance Performance 

Houston-based Soul Street Dance is one of the most dynamic premier dance companies in existence. Their technical and artistic skills, stage presence, and wit allow them to push the performance envelope to an amazing standard of excellence.

Closing Concert 

In celebration of the ongoing International Years of Culture program, the US Embassy in Doha and Qatar Museums is organizing the Qatar-USA closing concert on November 29. The concert will feature a special performance by the US AFCENT Band and the Charlie Porter Jazz Quintet, featuring a variety of styles of American music and an exclusive collaborative piece between AFCENT Band and H E Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali, Minister of Youth and Sports.

Faces of Freedom 

The exhibition ‘Faces of Freedom’ by artist Jean-Claude Logagneur presents 22 paintings that reflect the vision of others, showing how contemporary artists, expertise, excellence, participation, and production can be of advantage as part of today’s globalised world. The selected works offer a reflection on individual and shared histories, cultural characteristics, and colonial legacies, as well as the idiosyncrasies that shape understanding culture and identity today.

POW! WOW! street art festival 

This weeklong street art festival will take place outside the Al Sadd Metro Station Hub.
POW! WOW! is an international mural arts festival founded by Jasper Wong in Hong Kong in 2009 which has been exhibited in 17 cities worldwide with the purpose of city beautification and community building

Jeff Koons: Lost in America

Qatar International Food Festival
The Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) is a Qatar Tourism initiative that celebrates the country's diverse food, beverage and hospitality offerings. Other than diverse food options, the 11th edition of the food festival will have several other activities that range from live cooking, exciting competitions to entertainment and masterclasses.
