Doha: Qatari shooters stole limelight at the prestigious GCC Shooting Championship 2015 after clinching ten medals in the event on Friday in Kuwait.
The Qatar’s tally of ten medals includes four gold, as many silver and two bronze medals.
Qatar’s Ali Al Mohannadi brought the first premier medal for the country when he won the rifle 50m event final.
Likewise, Qatar’s Rashid El Zbah, Hamad Al Marri and Masoud El Ezbah claimed the gold medals in Double Trap teams event.
Meanwhile, Qatar’s Hajer Mohammed won the gold medal in the Skeet and her team-mate Sarah Mohammed earned the silver medal. Both showed impressive performance throughout the competition
Qatar’s Khaloud Al Khalf clinched the silver medal in the Trap women event and Mahboubah A Khalaqi, Aisha Al Motawa and Noor Al Mohannadi brought silver for the country in Trap team event.
