Comedy play 'Yanano Celine' being staged at Katara.
The Cultural Village Foundation, Katara witnessed a large turnout of visitors enjoying its rich and varied Eid Al Fitr festive programme, which concluded yesterday.
On the last day of the festivities, families flocked for the fourth day in a row to Katara facilities, to enjoy the interesting performances presented by the Police Music Band on the waterfront of Katara, where the audience enjoyed the dazzling musical performance of the band, which includes 85 members of skilled musicians.
Meanwhile, the Drama Theatre was crowded with the audience of Seventh Art, to watch the performances of the social comedy play Yanano Celine, produced by Al Hosn Art Production Company, in cooperation with Tethkar Art Production Company. Starring artists were Faleh Fayez, Jenny Esber, Bou Hilal, Rashid Saad, Mohamed Al Sayegh, Fatima Al Shorouki, Yasmine Ibrahim, and Samah El Sayed.
Many of the attendees expressed their admiration for the entertaining performances of the artists.
Artist Saad Burshid, expressed his happiness with the cultural, artistic and theatrical events launched by Katara during its festive programme for Eid Al Fitr, expressing his pride in the massive public turnout witnessed by these events, especially the performances of the comedy play.
Artist Faleh Fayez, said that Katara brought life back to the theatre through the theatrical performances that it hosts during the Eid programme, pointing out that these purposeful performances address children and adults, in addition to its various activities like folk arts, cultural and entertainment shows.
Artist Ali Al Sharshani expressed his admiration for the activities of Katara during Eid which attracted visitors from different groups and nationalities, especially the Katara Museum of Traditional Bearings, which allows visitors to enjoy an exciting experience that opens the windows of the Qatari maritime heritage.
