Qatar Customs issues notice to travellers on personal belongings, gifts limits

Doha, Qatar: The General Customs Authority in Qatar has issued a notice to travellers entering the country via air, land, and sea ports, advising them to comply with customs regulations regarding personal belongings and accompanying gifts.

The department detailed on its social media that the value of these items must not exceed QR3,000 or its equivalent in other currencies. Additionally, these items must be for personal use and not in commercial quantities.

For luggage intended for commercial purposes, travellers are advised to familiarize themselves with the relevant customs procedures and laws, which can be found on the official website.
