Muscat - The Omani Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday the registration of 18 new coronavirus cases, brining the total number of infections to 84.
All 18 are citizens of Oman, of which 11 cases are linked to contact with infected patients and 5 are related to travel abroad. Two cases are under epidemiological investigation, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
The Ministry added that 17 patients with COVID-19 have recovered, calling for strictly abiding by quarantine procedures and applying health guidelines.
