Jordan Confirms 15 New COVID-19 Cases

Amman - Jordanian Health Ministry confirmed Monday 15 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases , making the total number of confirmed infections 127, including the case whose recovery had been announced earlier.

In a press briefing Jordan's Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Jaber said that among the newly reported cases: five in the Prince Hamza Hospital, four of whom have been in quarantine; two of them had come from the US and a 4-year-old boy who is the son of one of the patients was suspected of having the disease since his mother had tested positive for the virus upon arriving to the Kingdom.

The last case has been in quarantine and had contracted the disease from one of the patients, Jordan news agency Petra reported.

Jordan announced Saturday, a curfew in all regions of the country until further notice, due to coronavirus.
