Doha: Ooredoo has announced the launch of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 5 at Ooredoo shops and on online Ooredoo eShop.
Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 5 deliver new features, including a faster charging time — full charge within 90 minutes — advanced video options such as Video Collage and 4K video recording, and a slimmer, sleeker design.
Ooredoo is an official partner of Samsung phones in Qatar, and the connection between both means that customers can enjoy latest devices and guaranteed authorised products.
It is offering Galaxy Note 5 (32GB) in gold or black for QR2,799, and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus (32GB) for QR3,099.
To take advantage of its 4G+ network, Ooredoo is offering customers who purchase one of the devices a 15GB data card for free.
This is the latest in device launches for Ooredoo this year as it continues to expand its portfolio and offers devices that excel using Ooredoo’s SuperNet.
Meanwhile, Vodafone Qatar is gearing up to launch the fifth generation of Galaxy Note and Galaxy S6 edge+.
Customers looking to purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note5 or Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ can check Vodafone’s eShop through www.vodafone.qa/note5 for updates on the sales of phablets.
Vodafone is also getting ready to launch the devices at its retail stores in Villaggio, Landmark Mall, City Centre Mall, Lulu, Msheireb, Al Nasr, Al Gharrafah, Al Fourusiyah, Al Wakrah, the Pearl-Qatar, Ezdan Mall, Al Shafi and Old Airport.
Galaxy Note5 32GB and Galaxy S6 edge+ 32GB will retail at QR2,799 and QR3,099, respectively. Galaxy S6 edge+ 64GB version will retail at QR3,399.
The company will also offer Vodafone Advantage — fantastic data, worry-free data transfer and unmatched trade-up services with the purchase of Galaxy Note5 and Samsung S6 edge+.
For data, postpaid customers will get 15 GB of free data per month for three months and prepaid customers 6 GB of free data for three months.
For data transfer, Vodafone will assist customers to transfer contacts, videos and photos from old phones to new phablets for free through Vodafone Red Box. Customers trading old handsets with a Galaxy Note5 or Galaxy S6 edge+ will enjoy great value for old phones and receive an instant discount.
