The crescent moon marking the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan was sighted in Qatar today.
The Moon Sighting Committee of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs announced that tomorrow, Friday, April 24, 2020 will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
This came in a statement issued by the Committee after its meeting this evening at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, chaired by Dr Sheikh Thaqeel Al Shammari.
