Riyadh: Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia H E Bandar bin Mohammed Al Attiyah congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the wise Saudi government and the Saudi people on the occasion of the country’s Founding Day, which symbolizes the historical, civilizational and cultural depth of the Kingdom.

The Ambassador highlighted the bonds of brotherhood, trust and cooperation linking the founders of the two states, and the keenness of the leaderships of both countries to further nurture and develop them.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on this occasion, H E Ambassador Bandar bin Mohammed Al Attiyah said that the State of Qatar celebrates this day with brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the second year in a row, to mark this occasion which recalls the efforts exerted by all those who participated in building the Kingdom and contributed to its advancement.

On this special occasion, the State of Qatar recalls the endeavours of Imam Muhammad bin Saud three centuries ago in laying the foundations of the Kingdom and building its solid fundamentals; the efforts of King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud in uniting the state and consolidating its pillars; and the sacrifices made by kings of Al Saud family in overcoming challenges and accumulating achievements, leading to the dazzling renaissance era under leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince. The milestones of development and prosperity are evident under the Kingdoms Vision 2030, with its great ambitions that will enhance the prosperity of Saudi Arabia and the entire region, the Ambassador added.

He underlined that the people of the Kingdom have the right to be proud of the achievements made. Thanks to the determination of its wise leadership and the support of its loyal and generous people, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become a prominent model of success globally and in all fields.

The Ambassador mentioned the bonds of brotherhood, trust and cooperation between the founder of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, and his brother King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud; stressing that HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and HRH Crown Prince and Saudi Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud are keen on preserving and promoting these bonds.

Ambassador Al Attiyah stressed that the unprecedented development in the Qatari-Saudi relations today is the fruit of the determination and insistence of the leaderships of the two countries to consolidate strong bilateral relations based on respect, trust, solidarity, collaboration and cooperation, in a way that symbolises the fraternal bonds and ties of kinship, and serves the interests of the the two brotherly people.
