DOHA: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) announced that is forbidden to install and use loudspeakers in camps.
The Ministry also called on everyone to preserve the environment and conserve its natural resources through the use of alternative and environmentally friendly energy, planting saplings and trees, maintaining camping sites, and adhering to the controls and conditions related to camping, including adherence to the coordinates assigned to the camp and the distances between camps, farms, farms and villages, in order to protect the Qatari environment, including lands, plants, wild animals, coasts and beaches, and migratory birds, from practices that are harmful to the environment during the camping season.
The annual winter camping season for the year 2022-23 began in the northern and central regions on November 1, 2022 and will continue until April 1, 2023.
In a recent announcement, the ministry said that the second phase of the camping season began on December 20, 2022, according to which the Sealine and Al Udaid were opened to campers. These two winter camps will remain open until May 20, 2023.
