Doha, Qatar: Promising Senegalese center-back, Seydou Sano, landed in Doha on Tuesday, and is set to finalize his transfer from Portugal's Sporting Braga to Al Gharafa.
At just 18, Sano played a key role in leading Senegal to the U20 AFCON title and also represented his nation in the 2023 U20 World Cup.
Sano is scheduled to undergo a medical examination at Aspetar Hospital before officially joining Al Gharafa.
His arrival will mark Al Gharafa's fifth signing of the summer, following in the footsteps of Tunisian star Ferjani Sassi and Ivorian winger Yohan Boli.
