Ashghal completes work on 12 new mosques

DOHA: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has completed construction of 12 new mosques in Muaither, Rawdat Qdeem, Al Aziziyah, Shehaniyyah, Industrial Area, Al Waab, Umm Sanim, Hasm Al Markhiyah and Al Wajbah.
Eleven mosques will be handed over to the Ministry of Awqaf at the year-end and one in the first quarter of next year, according to Ashghal. The authority said nine more mosques will be built in Mughalina, Muaither and Abu Sidra. There are 10 mosques and Quran memorisation centres in the design phase in areas including Abu Sidra, Ras Barooq, Rawdat Rashid, Al Mearad, Umm Sanin, Abu Nakhla, Al Markhiyah, Al Gharaffa, Shahaniyyah, Ubaib and Rawdat Qdeem, said Ashghal.
