Doha, Qatar: Syrian composer, singer and co-founder of Arabic-language cartoon network Spacetoon Tarek Alarabi Tourgane was in Doha for a meet and greet at the Qatar Toy Festival held in Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre on Friday, July 21, 2023.
The half-hour meet-and-greet session will also be held today, July 22, 2023, at 7:30pm. Meeting the audience as Tourgane Family, alongside on stage was his son Mohammed who is following in the footsteps of his father. The duo, renowned in the Arab world for their Arabic theme songs for dubbed animated series, brought back cherished memories for the visitors at the toy festival.
Apart from signing autographs for the assembled audience, they also performed a few unforgettable songs from Detective Conan and other animated Digital Heroes series.
Tarek has written and composed over 1500 songs, which continues to have lasting impact on young viewers even today.
The Qatar Toy Festival has proven to be a major attraction, with tickets being sold out for the past six days.
Tickets for the festival range from QR50 to QR1,500 and can be conveniently purchased online or onsite.
