Doha, Qatar: Al Gharafa sealed a strong 5-2 win over Muaither in an exciting Week 6 clash of the Expo Stars League at the Thani Bin Jassim Stadium, yesterday.
The win saw The Cheetahs take their tally to 13 points. Muaither remained on four points.
The winners led 1-0 at half-time and six more goals came in the second session. Yohan Boli (45+4), Dame Traore (47), Farid Boulaya (68) and Yacine Brahimi (88 and 90+4) scored for Al Gharafa.
For Muaither, Jamal Mohammed scored a brace in the 61st and 90+2 minutes of the match.
In the other match of the day, Yusupha Nije scored two goals (45+3, 88) as Al Markhiya defeated Al Shamal 2-1. Magid Mohamed scored Al Shamal's goal in the 26th minute.
