Zahira College Colombo Old Boys Association Qatar announced the 3rd edition of the OZee 7’s 2012 Sports Carnival. The event will be held at the Mesaieed Sports Complex in Mesaieed on November 2 and 30. The event will include soccer, rugby and cricket tournaments that will attract many Sri Lankan School Teams and Sri Lankan clubs and their families based in Qatar. “After successfully hosting tournaments for two years, the organisers are glad to announce that this year’s event will be bigger than the previous years,” said a satement from the group.
The organisers are expecting a large number of Sri Lankan families and friends to be present to witness and participate in the event. “There will be face painting, kiddies corner, special events for kids, mehendi stall for ladies, music and food and beverage stalls set up,” statement added.
This event is sponsored by International Bank of Qatar (IBQ) and co-sponsors are Qatar Trading & Transport, Wilhelmsen Ship Services, InfoSec, Rocket Battery, Mercure Grant Hotel.
