The annual Science and Mathematics exhibition – Spectrum 2012 was inaugurated in the new campus of Birla Public School (BPS) yesterday. Dr Narendra Kumar Agnihotri inaugurated the third year of Spectrum in the Basanth Kumar Birla Auditorium of the school.
The science sector had 2500 participants who presented 1200 models which included working, still models and power point demonstrations. The Mathematics section had more than 25 exhibits which demonstrated various theories and formulas.
Chief Guest Dr Narendra Agnihotri during his address expressed his desire to see future scientists from among the Birlites of Doha. Later Dr Mohan Thomas, Management Committee Member of Birla Public School, addressing the gathering said that today’s fiction is tomorrow’s reality. He also announced that he and his team would help in promoting the best 10 original projects based on new inventions or discoveries through the science forum that they are forming in Doha to promote budding scientists.THE PENINSULA
