Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced a 6-day closure at Pearl Interchange on Lusail Road, which will be effective from Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 1 am.
Pointing out that "tight turn at the junction, linking traffic from Doha & Katara towards the Pearl will be closed to enable rectification works" on their Twitter account.
Ashghal clarified that the road closure, which will be implemented in coordination with the General traffic authority, is designated for enabling rectification works, and, advised Lusail Road users heading for the Pearl from Doha to keep on their journey through Pearl I/C tunnel, then U-Turn at the next junction towards the Pearl to reach their destinations during the diversion.
"Road users coming from Katara towards the Pearl can take the first access prior to the closed right turn, then use the local roads to reach their destinations," Ashghal added.
