Doha, Qatar: Reyada Medical Centre announced yesterday that it has been assessed and accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI), which identifies, measures, and shares best practices in quality and patient safety across the world.
The receipt of the JCI accreditation follows a successful survey of Rayada Medical Centre’s facilities and patient-safety processes.

JCI accreditation serves as a recognised benchmark for healthcare organisations worldwide, signifying their dedication to delivering exceptional patient care and adhering to rigorous quality standards.
Reyada Medical Centre has been preparing for JCI accreditation and the healthcare facility has made a great achievement by receiving the recognition within nine months since starting operations, said Managing Director of Reyada Healthcare, Jamsheer Hamza addressing a press conference.
According to him, the Reyada Medical Centre underwent a rigorous on-site survey and a team of JCI expert surveyors evaluated compliance with the healthcare facility’s standards related to a variety of areas, including patient safety goals; patient assessment and care; infection prevention and control; governance and leadership; facility management; staff qualifications and education; and information management.
“We are honoured to have received the JCI accreditation within a year of starting operations. This achievement is a testament to our team’s dedication and hard work in providing top-notch healthcare services to our patients. Reyada Medical Centre provides services within 15 specialities by 24 doctors and caters to around 350 to 400 patients every day. It also provides radiology services, laboratory, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and optical services.
